The original version of this song was home-made and released in 2020. I liked the song at its core but felt that the sound was too low-quality. I decided to re-record it in a studio, to give it the quality I think it deserves. I hope you enjoy it.
lyrics
We used to watch this view
‘til it would get too cold.
It’s been a while and
now I watch it alone.
You’ve got your life and you’re
doing things with it.
I’ve stayed behind, using memory
to cope.
Cause I,
I can’t believe
what I am seeing.
These two eyes,
they must
be working wrong,
cause of all people, you’re
by his side.
He’s just the type you’d hate,
so now I cannot tell
what’s on your mind,
it’s like you’re someone else.
Cause I,
I can’t believe
what I’m seeing.
These two eyes,
they must
be working wrong,
cause of all people, you’re
by his side.
How come we were never more than friends
but you gave your heart to him?
He couldn’t possibly know you
half as well as i do.
I,
I can’t believe
what I’m seeing.
These two eyes,
they must
be working wrong,
cause of all people, you’re
by his side.
